Meet Julie Bergfeld,
Life Performance Coach

Empowering you to feel better, live better, and thrive–because you’re worth the effort.

It’s Your Turn to Feel Good

I know what it’s like to give everything you have to others, your work, your family, while quietly wondering, When is it my turn?

Midlife often brings uninvited changes: a body that feels unfamiliar, energy that runs out too soon, a mind that won’t quiet down.

You are worth the time, energy, and care it takes to feel like yourself again—physically, mentally, and emotionally. And you don’t have to do it alone.

That’s where I come in.

I help you untangle the habits, beliefs, and patterns that keep you tired, stressed, or stuck, no matter how much effort you’ve poured in.

Together, we’ll uncover what’s really going on physically, mentally, and emotionally so you can:

✓ Feel better in your mind and body
✓ Move with more ease and confidence
✓ Think more clearly and make decisions that are right for you
✓ Create a life that’s truly yours — not one built on everyone else’s expectations

Life’s too short to feel stuck and not live life to its fullest. The next chapter should feel good, and so should you.

My Personal Story: From “Shoulds” to Self-Trust

I grew up in a family where achievement was everything. No matter how hard I tried, nothing ever seemed to be enough. That constant chase for external approval left me with anxiety, perfectionism, and deep self-doubt.

Eventually, that relentless pressure led to disordered eating, alcohol addiction, and a movement disorder that took away the thing I loved most: running.

I knew something had to change.

My search for answers led me to seek mentors, trainings, certifications, and books. As I slowly unraveled the patterns that were running my life, I saw there was a lack of “experts” who could help me. Through that recognition, I discovered that healing comes from within. It isn’t about “fixing” what’s broken. It’s about clearly seeing yourself – honoring your truth – without judgment, learning to process stuck emotions and restoring your mind and body.

This process became the foundation of my RARE Method: Recognize. Acknowledge. Restore. Embody. It’s now at the heart of how I help my clients.

I specialize in working with high-achievers who’ve lost hope—the ones I call ‘the should-ers.’ They carry the crushing weight of endless “shoulds,” constantly giving, striving, and holding it all together– until they can’t anymore.

I see you, because I was you.

What You Can Expect From Me as Your Coach

I don’t offer quick fixes or one-size-fits-all plans. Because of my extensive background, my work goes much deeper than that.

As your coach, I will look beyond the symptoms. I’ll help you uncover the subtle patterns, limiting beliefs, and ingrained habits that quietly hold you back so you can make sustainable shifts and create lasting transformation.

You’ll get honest feedback, practical tools, and steady support. But most importantly, you’ll build the skills and self-trust to keep thriving long after our time together ends.

My Commitment to You:

CONNECTION

I build trust, listen deeply, and see you for all that you are.

COMPASSION

I meet you where you are, without judgment.

INTEGRITY

I walk my talk, speak with authentic compassion, and hold a safe space for you to do the same.

PERSISTENCE

I stick with you through the tough moments, uncovering what’s hidden.

INNOVATION

I find creative, evidence-based solutions tailored specifically to your needs.

Ready to feel like yourself again — and even better?

Your well-being matters, and change is possible.

Let’s talk about the path that’s right for you.

Professional Background & Experience

Before becoming a coach, I worked in technology and academia, with degrees in Journalism (M.A., University of Missouri-Columbia) and French Literature (B.A., Washington University in St. Louis), until burnout pushed me to redefine success on my own terms.

That shift led me to found a yoga studio, become a dedicated movement specialist, and deepen my practice as an endurance athlete and meditator. I’ve also been a passionate runner and marathoner for more than 35 years.

Today, my approach blends extensive professional training with lived experience in navigating physical and mental health, performance, and change. Every part of my journey—the setbacks, the rigorous training, and the wins—has shaped the insight, compassion, and persistence I bring to every client.

You’re not here to settle for “fine.” You’re here to feel strong in your body, confident in your choices, and fully alive in your life.

I’m here to help you do exactly that.
